I am trying to remove a certain peice of a path/vector based on the position (overlapping) of another path. I've just found the eraser tool only can do so much and isnt the best for precise movements/deletion.
As you see below I have a green line over the top of the bottom vector, and I am trying to remove/delete everything to the right of the green line.
Not sure what is the best way to go about deleting like this. (I imagine I have to some how joint the points and select or something?)
I'm coming from a photoshop background.
Any help would be great
Presuming the green path goes right through: Select both, Pathfinder>Divide, Ungroup (Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+G), and delete the unwanted part.
Thanks Jacob much appreciated, pathfinder panel seems like the panel I've been really needing thanks again.
