Here is an example of the bug.
-Make sure the scroller works on the dataGrid
-Now open a Web browesr and make it cover the projector
-Minimize the browser and try scrolling the grid again.
Note: any application that covers the projector will locup the scroller not just a web browser.
Also the scroller lock up affects the list component as well, if we replace the dataGrid with one.
scroll_test1.zip 3.6 MB
I tested it and can confirm that it locked up the scrollbar in testScroll.exe when overlapping IE8 and D11.5, but not when I did it with Firefox 3.5, Photoshop CS2 or PSPad.
I can get it to lock with Firefox 3.0.10, and Photoshop CS4.
If I slide in the application to cover my projector then slide it away, the scroller works again sometimes.
But if I cover the projector with the application then minimize the application thats when the scrollbars lock up.
Seven months and no fix for this bug...
Come on Adobe, I still need a solution please.
Yeah I know, I filled a form.
Director team used to be more visible and hands-on on these forums. Don't know where the've been.
I just hope Adobe keep developing Director and make it more application optimized.
I'm only using flash to get access to nicer looking buttons and interface components since OpenSpark OS Control is not going to D11.5 because of the Unicode. Also to get Datagrids but they are buggy...
I know it was along time since you posted this - but I have been experiencing the same issues with flash movies in director 11.5 projectors too. I have found that if you use the windows("stage").MoveToFront() function for windows related events like moveWindow, ActivateWindow and ZoomWindow etc. this returns the focus to the Flash movies in the stage (projector).
