    Component Data

    GeorgeWS Level 1

      I have been trying this for weeks I have a ADG with Hierarchial data I am using this:

      <mx:rendererProviders>

      <mx:AdvancedDataGridRendererProvider dataField="COMPUTED_COLUMN_6" columnSpan="5" columnIndex="1" depth="1" renderer="SummaryRenderer"/>

      </mx:rendererProviders>

      The renderer shows up in the right place in the ADG spanning the correct number of columns. But I cannot get the correct data in the cell(s)

      I'm doing this to get very close:

      {

      var i:int;

      for (var i = 0; i < parentDocument.myWine.length; i++)

      {

      super.data = value;

      rowLabel.htmlText = parentDocument.myWine.getItemAt(i).COMPUTED_COLUMN_6;

      }

      }

      This shows me the last record for all the rows (so the description is repeated). This must be possible. I really think it should be as easy as:

      rowLabel.htmlText = value.COMPUTED_COLUMN_6;

      I just get "0"

      I have tried:

      data.COMPUTED_COLUMN_6

      value.COMPUTED_COLUMN_6

      parentDocument.myWine - if I look at this in an Alert I see all the data

      How do I pick out just each COMPUTED_COLUMN_6?

      I dont even think I should be looping but thats what has produced the closest result to what I want.

      Any Thoughts?

      Thanks

      George
