Windows 7 gives wrong file time duration on m2v??

Does anyone know why a new feature of Windows 7 that now shows you the time duration of m2v files shows the wrong time length?

Here for example are the avi and m2v output file from my 2:03 long benchmark file.  Notice the m2v file is show as 1:04 but it is actually 2:03.  Thavi

file is correct size as is the wav file.  Vista showed avi and wav file durations but not m2v.  This really threw me a curve when I saw that my DVD and Blu-ray m2v and wav files were coming out different durations.
