Perhaps my memory is failing me, but I seem to remember that, if I drew a box in Illustrator and hovered my mouse just outside one of the points, the cursor would turn into a transform tool—allowing me to stretch and rotate the shape without switching to another tool? Have I turned a feature off, or am I thinking of a different application?
probably, you just need to View>Show Bounding Box (or Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+B).
On amen! I knew it was something simple. Thanks.
You are welcome, Jake.
