I just performed an update from FlashBuilder4 beta1 to beta2 to correct an issue that was occuring with the RichEditableText container not clipping when I used clipAndEnableScrolling. It appears that in beta 2 this is corrected but I've got new 'Problems' that I didn't get previously with my app:
Cannot resolve attribute 'itemClick' for component type spark.components.ButtonBar. Section1_Layers.mxml Frame1/src/components line 85 Flex Problem
If I change it to a click event rather than a itemClick event, then I get the following problem:
1067: Implicit coercion of a value of type flash.events:MouseEvent to an unrelated type mx.events:ItemClickEvent. Section1_Layers.mxml Frame1/src/components line 85 Flex Problem
So, it appears that now neither click or itemClick is not working correctly.
A correction would be greatly appreciated.
quite a few things changed with beta 2 with the click event sometimes its easier to remove the 'old' event and its handler from the component then re-enter its replacement and allow the event generator create the function for you, that way at least the correct event will be called. Then you can paste your old code into the new function and adjust anything that requires recoding within that function.
Yes, there were changes to ButtonBar, please see:
From the check-in notes: "-itemClick event removed from ButtonBar, now uses "change" event like other ListBase components".Your 'change' event handler gets passed an IndexChangeEvent object (http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Flex/4.0/langref/spark/events/IndexChangeEvent.html).
There's an example that shows the new syntax here:
