event.info.code = "NetConnection.Connect.Success"?
I think it should be:
event.info.code == "NetConnection.Connect.Success"
Thanks for the reply. However, this is not the issue.
it seems like the "NetConnection.Connect.Success" event is being caught correctly but myNetConnection.connected is false even before i create the NetStream object.
Am I missing something here?
Can I even use Stratus and rtmfp protocol just using flash player 10 and actionscript3?

Stratus and RTMFP work great in Flash Player 10. i was not able to reproduce your problem. while handing "NetConnection.Connect.Success", i was able to see netConnection.connected == true and i could make a new NetStream right from the event handler.
are you sure you're looking at the right NetConnection? that is, do you have more than one, or more than one variable, in your code? perhaps you're connecting one NetConnection but examining a different one.
Thanks for the help.
I think it is a bug in this specific swf/fla . I created a new file and copied the same code and it works.
I hate it when I don't know how it got fixed but at least it works
So now i can finally create the netstream
