I am facing a scenario where I would like the user of my page record their voices from their login where they
will purchase certain minutes for recording and as well as for listening.
How do I manage the audio frames sent back to the server? Is that possible to only stream audio for a length of
10 minutes, while actual length of audio is 1 hour?
- Do I have to write or develop a flash player completely?
- Is there any already developed solution?
- Do I have to use Media Server in this scenario?
Waiting for the response. Thanks in advance.
with as3 you might be able to use the bytearray class to save the sound on any server.
with as2 you can use the sharedobject with a fms to save the sound.
You mean as3 can send the chunk of bytes of audio to any server. Can you please explain the server details more?
If I have a Windows server do I have to install anything there or I just need to specify the folder to save the audio file there? In which format it usually create the audio file?
What about, how to do recording and listening of audio files that can be controlled from server somehow. For example user can record audio for about 10 mins only or listen to a long audio till 5 mins only.
Thanks in advance.
Anyone can help in my scenario.
