    Will this help reduce lag?

Im making a full flash site. The background has alot going on that any conventional lag reducing techniques won't work very well(many, many symbols, effects, transparencies, etc). I was wondering if taking the finished animation, then converting each frame into a picture like a jpeg, then putting it back in the flash would dramatically reduce lag. This way it's just playing a movie instead of rendering a million animations, alpha/color changes and such. Would this technique work or would it result in the same amount of lag?
