It sounds like it didn't save and/or is having trouble saving. I wonder if you are saving to a network. Try saving a file to your desktop and see if it happens again. Your server may not be able to, because of traffic issues, save your file. If you're saving to your local drive(s); take a look at usable space. Another issue could be scratch disk space. It may just be a maintenance issue where it's time to do some house cleaning.
Thank you for your reply. I should give more information. It is networked to my desktop. Though I'm not really sure, it was what I was told. anything I save on the desktop, the other computers have access to.
I will check to see if my files are savign properly. SInce that could be the problem. If therer is anything else it could be, I would appreciate the imput from anyone.
Does the file contain mice, lemmings (the latter will head for the edge of the Workspace), gremlins, or the like?
Does it happen to all files or (a) specific one(s)? In the latter case, what makes it/them different?
Can you show an image/screenshot of the move?
