I want to know how to make a 3d model viewable online, using Shockwave.
Heres an example of what I want:
And heres the source:
<TITLE>:: FN P90 Personal Defense Weapon ::</TITLE>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
ID=fnp90 WIDTH=640 HEIGHT=480>
<param name=src value="3D_progbar.dcr">
<param name=sw1 value="fnp90.dcr">
<param name=swStretchStyle value=fill>
<param name=swRemote value="swSaveEnabled='true' swVolume='false' swRestart='false' swPausePlay='false' swFastForward='false' swContextMenu='false' ">
<PARAM NAME=bgColor VALUE=#333333> <EMBED SRC="3D_progbar.dcr" sw1="fnp90.dcr" bgColor=#333333 WIDTH=640 HEIGHT=480 swRemote="swSaveEnabled='true' swVolume='false' swRestart='false' swPausePlay='false' swFastForward='false' swContextMenu='false' " swStretchStyle=fill
I do know that it involvs a DCR file: http://www.boxart.co.uk/images/models/fnp90.dcr
Only problem is that I don't know how to setup the DCR correctly, and I modified the source, but whenever
I load it up, it doesnt seem to work.
Is there a tutorial or guide to do this?
you dont have to do anything director does everything when you publish it
Yes, but I also want it to be moved using the mouse, and switch between 2 models, a regular and a wireframed model.

Then you will need a copy of Director so that you can add code to your scene to make this happen when/as you want it to. You would then publish a DCR file from the authoring environment. Download the trial version and have a look around, but don't be daunted.
