    GIF Animation

    herrdanne
I have made a GIF-animation in photoshop CS3. I set the animation to play once, NOT loop. When I play it in photoshop it plays perfect, it plays one time. But when I import it to Director and use it there it loops. Why does it loop in director? How do I stop that

      Wery glad for any help!

I could never get a GIF animation to stop looping in Director. My solution
has always been to convert it to a Flash animation which WILL play once and
can be controlled easily within Director.

Director might obey the loop flags in the gif when imported but don't count on it. It's better to use sprite(x).resume() and sprite(x).pause() to control the playback (see help files).

So when the gif plays start a timer and when it reaches the end pause playback.

Or you can set a really long delay on the last frame of the gif.
