Or... if adjusting the images is not possible, is there anyway to copy the attributes or interactions?
You can do this with two tricks:
1) You need to duplicate your custom component in the Library panel
a) Select your custom component in the "Library" panel
b) Right-click and choose "Duplicate"
c) Drag out the duplicate to the artboard
If you just copy and past your custom component on the artboard, then you will by creating two copies that share the same definition- if you edit the images in one, both of them will change.
2) To retain interactions and transitions on images when you change the image, modify the image source of the existing image, rather than creating a new image
a) double-click the duplicated custom component from step 1 above.
b) select an image
c) In the Properties panel, click the "source" hyperlink for the image. This will show you the asset picker when you can choose an existing asset or pick a new one.
Oh cool.. I´ll try your source link suggestion. I already experimented a bit with the blocks/duplicate components. But as you mentioned earlier.. they all end up changing together so it doesn´t work for me.
oh.. that was easy. Just cut my workload by about 30 times.
