Application Descriptor File in an AIR application

    ForestDemon Level 1

in trying to understand how the Application Descriptor File works with an AIR application, i'm buffaloed as to why it does what it does when i try to run the app in the IDE.

it doesnt pickup the settings for the app, such as the initial windows height and width; however, if i uncomment the settings in the Main-app.xml file under the bin-debug folder it works as expected.

i'm assumming this has to do with the <content>Main.swf</content> piece under the <initialWindow> part of the XML file.

how can i config my app to use the settings when i run the app from the IDE or when i do an export build?

      thanks folks
