you have crossdomain.xml policy file in the server where application A is been hosted and crossdomain policy file must have an entry of allow-domain reference of application B server where it is been hosted.
This is the solution for the deployment. But how do you develop, test and debug such application. Do you always have to deploy it to server?
How can I reference to the "domain" of files at the local filesystem? For example C:/whatever/A.swf
A deployed app cannot access the local filesystem. Normally you use relative paths or use http paths and deploy all supported files to a test server. I set up a Tomcat server on my computer and test the app by launching from http://localhost
