This is not supported configuration due to known problems including the one you are seeing. Its time to upgrade to Acrobat 9. Which BTW is probably the last version you can qualify for upgrading to. Adobe's recent policy is to allow upgrades for up to 3 versions back. When Acrobat 10 comes---which cannot be far off---you will have to pay full fare to upgrade.
I found solution in the forums after some digging. - In the long run... I uninstalled and then reinstalled Adobe 9, and then it worked.
Which would be the best way to go about upgrading from 6.0 to 9.0 Standard, I know that my enduser would like a physical copy. - Plus after trying to call Adobe customer support and sitting on phone for over an hour without anyone answering, i would to have to call.
