Printed Documents VBA Macros Error

I am using Robohelp 8 HTML. I create both WebHelp and HTML Help. I have VISTA on my pc.

I have created a project and tried to generate a .pdf version of it. However, I am receiving an error message that Robohelp can't register the VBA macros.

I looked up VBA macros in Help and it suggested I make sure I have all downloads from Microsoft applied. If that still did not correct the problem to call Adobe Technical Support.

I have a support call logged with ATS, however, it has been over 7 business days. The only information they can offer is that it has been 'bumped' up to senior technical support.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Ideas on how to fix it?

Thanks.

What security level do you have set for macros in Word? It needs to be low.

Did you install RH with admin rights attached to your logon? Essential.

WOW! You're good. (As in why doesn't Adobe Technical Support have a clue to the solution in almost two weeks?)

Let me know if you ever decide to run for office, i.e., King of Robohelp, etc. I'd love to sign onto your campaign!

Thanks ever so much.

Was it the macro level or the installation?

Do you have a case number for your call to Adobe?

I changed the Macro Level and it created the .pdf document as easily as advertised.

I do have a call number. Do you want it?

Yes please. I think it will help Adobe track why you did not get a timely response.

Peter, I just wanted to thank you. I installed RH on a new PC and receoved the same error. I searched the forums for the same error, and came upon this, which solved my problem.

Thanks!
