    3D Text

    peponette

      Hello,

I wanted to know if it's possible to convert a text in 3D (cf example picture but IT IS NOT MINE) in order to apply to it 3 colors that I will choose : top of the letters black, middle white and bottom red. It is to create a logo for my husband society.

How can I do PLEASE ?

      THANK YOU VERY MUCH

You can expand the Extrude&Bevel effect to gain more control over such things and treat individual sections, but based on how it works, you will have to deal with lots of contours once expanded. A better way might be to create a gradient and define it as a symbol, so it can be mapped while the Bevel&Extrude is still a live effect. Depending on what typeface you use, of course manually placing gradients might also be a way. Hard to tell without knowing what exactly the logo/ text looks like and what it is intended for...
