I have a file I'd like to post on YouTube. YouTube recommends uploading the following: MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format at 640x480 resolution with MP3 audio.
I'm trying to export my Pr project to the MPEG4 format from the drop-down menu, but it defaults to PAL and won't let me change any of the settings. Then I saw that the format H.264 has a YouTube preset, but it defaults to 320x240 resolution and the audio format is only in AAC and doesn't give me an option to change to MP3. Should I still use this preset or is there something I'm not doing correctly in the MPEG4 settings window?
Try it. See how it works.
What version of Premiere are you using? I've used that YouTube preset in CS4 and pretty good results from it.
