      Hi everyone,

I have a graphic made up in illustrator at a certain size and imported this into indesign. I have another graphic (diff size) using the same ai document size which I would like to place directly over the previous graphic in position, is this possible?

Whats happening is as soon as I place the second graphic its start x,y co-ordinates change which is normal but I would like to keep x,y co-ordinates the same as the first graphic (artboard size).

      I tried to:

      1. Create a boundery box around the artboard with a 0 stroke and no fill and then place the file but indesign ignores the empty box.

      2. Fill the boundery box with white  around the artboard, the graphic on a different illustrator layer and turned off the white box layer in indesign's object layer options but then the graphic item moved up.

      I hope this makes sense..

      Thanks
