Clicking on a MenuBar will produce a MenuEvent that contains the information you are looking for.
With the consistency of the Flex SDK in mind, many components that list out objects look for a "label" and "data" property to use for display and interaction.
In the livedocs example, they use XML to define the menu, so the have to set the labelField equal to @label. Take a look here:
but this, you show me don't work with main options, I mean make click on option "Menu1" or "Menu2" and return diferent data for each opctions.
