Based on all the details supplied, I guess it is time for a fresh install of OS & programs.
>Anyone have any idea what the problem is?
No... but these links may help... and will tell you the DETAILS needed for someone to help
A link with many ideas about setup http://forums.adobe.com/thread/436215?tstart=0
Many ideas are generic enough they have helped some Non-Premiere users fix problems
Also, work through all of the steps listed at http://ppro.wikia.com/wiki/Troubleshooting
If your problem isn't fixed after you follow all of the steps, report back with the DETAILS asked for in the questions at the end of the troubleshooting link
For the freezing (and maybe more?), this ARTICLE will offer tips on getting your computer set up for an NLE session.
Also, if something worked one day, but not the next, then something has changed.
This could be, say different Assets. Please tell us all about the footage that you are working with, and also the Project/Sequence settings that you have used for this problem Project. Remember, more detail is better.
Anyone have any idea what the problem is?
The problem with an Unknown Error is that it's cause is...well...unknown. Not just for the program, but for everyone.
Also got another one saying. PProHeadless has encountered a error [..\...\Src\Core\Preferences.cpp-306]
Here is a error message I am getting when this happens. importerprocessserver.exe has stopped working.
Anyone have a idea what this is? And how to fix this from stopping to work.
I found a better solution.
I'm just going back to Final Cut.
This is SOOOO frustrating.
I made a great little 4 min video that I need tomorrow. I put it together in Premiere and it looks great and everything is lined up perfectly.
Then I find it won't export. There's an unknown error. What is the point in having an unknown error? You might as well say "no, I'm just not going to render this for no particular reason."
Then I find all the responses saying "you should reinstall your OS". Are you kidding me? No thank you.
Oh look, Final Cut has already loaded. Premiere burned me hard and I don't plan to mess with it again for a long time.
Welcome to the forum, but guess that we will not be seeing much of you, as you'll be spending time in the FCP forum.
Too bad that you did not post here, with adequate details, as someone could probably have helped you.
Good luck with FCP,
I was venting because of "unknown error" which I find incredibly unhelpful. I don't even know why someone would program that into the software. Plus, all the responses were absurd like "reinstall your OS".
I want to use Premiere more so I'll post questions when I have them.
