    java script attributes

    schlumpfio
      Hello,
I've got an annoying problem with dreamweaver. I'm creating XHTML1.1 compliant sites. Herefore it is not allowed to use onClick, onMouseOver and so on. It must be all in lower case letters. My problem now is that if I open a site with dreamweaver it replaces onclick with onClick, onload with onLoad and so on.
Short: it replaces the XHTML versions with the HTML versions. How can I put this off. The validation engine uses XHTML1.0 strict as XHTML1.1 is not given to choose.

Would be great if you could help me.

DW will not do this if you create your pages with a proper XHTML doctype.
Which DW are you using? Which doctype is on your pages?

The document type that is set in Dreamweaver is XHTML1.1.
and it is XHTML1.1 within a php script, but not within a php-string

How are you creating these strings? Can you show me the PHP code and its
              PHP context, please?

Why XHTML 1.1? Why not 1.0? And why XHTML at all?
