I'm using Illustrator CS on OSX Tiger.
I have been working on quite a complex technical drawing with several layers containing just line art (no gradients/mesh etc) in Illustrator and for some reason my paths have stopped high-lighting when I select them. They were working fine earlier today when I was working on the file. It's strange because when I select a path all of the palettes are showing the relevant info for the path but it does not high-light and show me the location of the anchor points/handles etc. When I make a new document the paths select and high-light fine as normal, even with the complex drawing still open underneath. Has anyone else noticed this problem or know of how to fix it?
Thanks in advance for your time.
I appear to be an idiot! This has had me pulling my hair out all afternoon. For some reason hide edges has been checked (i'm positive I didn't touch it?), lol!
Cmd(Ctrl)-H is the toggle for Hide Edges.
Same thing made me nuts all afternoon working on a file supplied by another. So don't apologise, you provided my answer! thanks!
