Dear Community,
I have created a cp file called "re-use_content.cp" which has some commom rollover slidetelts and rollover areas that I will use in many other projects.
The simple procedure is to copy the rollover slidelet form the "re-use_content" file and paste it on the "new-project.cp" file or "existing_project.cp" file as required.
The questions is: Can this procedure cause problems?
- I wonder this because when I paste an object that contains many items, the item name might already exist. (text caption item name, rollover area item name, etc)
Is there better way of achieving the same?
Best regards,
Santi
Hi Santi
Likely you are already working in the most efficient manner with this. As far as names go, Captivate should sort internally so you don't end up with duplicates. Normally it will rename items to accommodate this situation.
What would be cool is if we had an ability to open another library. We already have that ability, but the down side is that the library doesn't list items such as Rollover Slidelets. So I might suggest you complete a Wish Form to ask for it to be added at some future poi

Rick,
Thank you very much for the swift answer.
Indeed a library with the rollovers would be nice, I will complete a wish form.
Cheers,
Santi
