    FLARToolKit BitmapData size

    MaxManNH

      I am working with the FLARToolkit and I have everything working except when I attempt to change the size of the bitmapdata object that the toolkit is using to detect my marker file. For some reason it will only work if the bitmapdata object is set to 640x480. Can anyone give me some insight as to why this would be? I can post my code if needed.

          Ok so i figured that out. You have to give the bitmapData object a rectangle in the draw function that is the size of the area you want captured and stored into the bitmapData object

          For Example:

          bmd.draw(vid2,null,null,null,clipRect,false);

          Where clipRect is a rectangle I defined being at 0,0 with a width of 1024 x 768.

          Now I have another issue. When I ramp up the size of the bitmapData object my framerate gets crushed. If anyone knows of a tutorial that demonstrates good techniques for high framerate FLAR movies with high resolution I would appreciate being pointed in the right direction.
