    Pie-Chart // Wrong size

    howsy85

      Hey all,

      i wanted to create a pie-chart.

i created a table, where i put in all the data. But the thing is, similar-data-fields have a different size in the chart.

The light grey marked parts have the same value in the table. (All "200"), but they are not the same size?!

      I am confused.

Did i make a mistake? Is that a common problem?

      Thanks in advance,

      howsy

You understand similar, and the same, are not the same. Do data fields of the same value produce different size wedges? You might consider posting the actual AI file with the chart and data to better evaluate the issue.

            Hey PrepressPro1,

yes, datafields of the same value, produce different size wedges.

i uploaded the AI file. look at the data of the light-grey fields.

            tablefield 16 to 26 are all "210"

            and

            tablefield 28 to 34 are all "330"

but they are all varying... kind of knotty... Ö.ö

              Ahhh...

i just figured out, that AI is not "counting" the decimal place right.

if i make a circle with 50 pieces, all with the value "1" the wedges are varying,

but if i make a circle with 36 pieces, all with the value "1" the wedges are not varying.

so may it be, that AI is not dividing 360° / 50 correctly?

              i mean 360 / 36 = 10

              and 360 / 50 = 7.2

i guess there is something wrong about the rounding with the decimal place... :/
