When running in executable form we receive "The file test.cxt is not a director file" error message.
File "test.cxt" seems not to be corrupted. Error message is not constant. It occurs randomly.
The application is developed with Director MX. Is there any way to check files in order to avoid receiving the error message ?
Are there any recommendations on how to work with casts to avoid this message ?
The cxt is a protected file. I'd reccomend you simply recreate the cxt from the cst file. When you open it in Director, look to see if there are any odd cast members in there. Delete ones that are not needed.
