You may have to do the math then create the mask (or a dummy mask) in a Program such as AI or CorelDraw.
If a dummy mask, you then could use it to make your Letter box mask in PremPro Titler. by working over the tpop of it.
Thanks, but I just can't seem to work it out. I found an online aspect ratio calculator and that said the height should be 301 pixels, but that is far too narrow.
Anybody any ideas?????
Divide width by the aspect ratio to get the height.
Follow me on this because I think it easier to eliminate the issue of PAR (Pixel Aspect Ratio)
Make a Vector graphic (rectangle) in AI or CorelDraw because in these applications you can type in the vert x horiz dimension.
Doesnt matter what size you make cos its VECTOR based.
example: 90mm vertical x 2.39 equals 215.1 mm Horizontal
Now you have established the mask ratio...you can use this 'Dummy / Reference to align the bars in Titler Tool by placing the graphic in the timeline. Scale and motion it to fit edge to edge then create your title over the top
