I've been scouring the web forums and Adobe (and even Wacom) for a solution to a problem that i'm having:
I have recently installed Windows 7 32bit on my PC, and reinstalled my Adobe software which includes Flash CS3. Initially Flash seemed to crash intermittently, but mostly when i used my Wacom Tablet (intuos 3). After changing the 'compatibility settings' for Flash in Windows i.e. run as administrator / run in compatibility mode with Windows XP SP2 etc. it seemed to crash less, but nevertheless it still crashes.
I have also discovered that Flash CS3 seems to crash a lot more in Windows 7 whilst Photoshop CS3 is running as well.
Could somebody please update me why Flash CS3 is crashing a lot in Windows 7, and if there are any updates / bug fixes, or if i need to changes any Windows 7 settings to stop it from crashing.
It may help to run a Windows repair from the DVD. You may also want to ensure that you are using the most up-to-date drivers for your current hardware configuration.
Also, Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located here http://tinyurl.com/9fhdl5 . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to check the threads available there for additional assistance and feedback.
