Issue with badge.swf file (to install an AIR application)

    vrn_shan

In my HTML/Javascript application, I am using the badge.swf file (as explained here) to seamlessly install the application.

But in Internet Explorer (7 and 8) the background color is not setting.

      AC_FL_RunContent(

                          'codebase','http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab',

                          'width','217',

                          'height','180',

                          'id','badge',

                          'align','middle',

                          'src','badge',

                          'quality','high',

                          'bgcolor','#ECECEC',

                          'name','badge',

                          'allowscriptaccess','all',

                          'pluginspage','http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer',

                           ...

                           ...

                           ...

                      );

In all other browsers the background color is setting fine.

I tried the same thing with the sample code given in the adobe_air_help.pdf

There also the issue is reproducible.

Is this a bug with Adobe AIR ?

      I went through this link.

This explains that there should be two objects created.

What is the fix for this ?
