You can make a URL-Request to the browser by using the following code:
navigateToURL(new URLRequest(**yourURL**), "_blank");
The second parameter is the HTML-target. "_blank" will make it open in a new screen. Adjust to your liking :-)

But it doesn't bring the GET values along with it.
Still having this problem, but using POST.
do some trick in it...
first call the httpservice to post ( or via get ) your value to php, then in the resulthandler, use navigatetourl to show the new php file...
its just an illusion of posting data.. hope it works for you.
You need to use navigateToURL() function as BailHope said....
If you want to pass some data to the PHP script then you can use URLRequest.data property and passing in URLVariables object and setting URLRequest.method property to GET or POST so that your PHP script will get that data you will pass with your URLRequest.
