Hey, I'm trying to make a video in Premiere Pro CS4. I recorded my footage with two different types of cameras, one camera is a "Panasonic HDC SD5" and the other one is a "Samsung SC-X20". When i play the avchd video from my panasonic the result is exellent, bet when i add footage to the same project from the samsung which is not avchd the video shrinks to about 25%. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
More info about my cameras:
Panasonic HDC SD5
The Samsung is an SD camera. You can't effectively mix it with the HD footage from the Panny.
you could of course convert you HD down to SD and make a SD project.
of course if your goal was to keep all in a HD project your SD would have to stay small because expanding it would make it look bad.
Downconverting HD to SD will look fine.
I record all my video in HDV then downconvert to SD.
