I am Currently using Adobe Reader 9.2 Standard last Version Files are opening up with all Completely BLACK PAGES & Totally Unreadable.
Even when downloading a PDF file the writing shows on the left Review of pages until downloaded it also goes black too in Adobe Reader in the program it’s self & in internet Explorer the PDF Docs are unreadable totally on Vista OS WHY???
I have tried looking at your knowledge base with no help on this subject.
Some of the older PDF Docs I have open fine so I presume that the newly acquired PDF Doc may have been created with the New version of Adobe Reader to which hence there is a problem When you can not read Adobe Reader PDFs is there not???
HELP ME, HELP ALL CURRENT & NEW CONSUMERS/CUSTOMERS...
"I WOULD INSERT A SCREEN IMAGE BUT YOUR DAM WEB SITE WON'T LET ME, LIKE I'M SURPRISED"
I am successfully able to view PDF files on my Vista OS, without any black spots or any other obfuscating marks.
You should try to uninstall and then reinstall your Reader 9.2 from http://get.adobe.com/reader/.
If the problem persists, then you need to check any other installed software on your system, that's causing you problems because Adobe Reader's is an application to view PDF files, it does not creates any.
There is not Adobe Reader Standard. There is Adobe Acrobat Standard and Adobe Reader. Please give us more details on your OS, there are several versions of Vista. As a first attempt to cure your problem, you might try to disable any Video acceleration on your video driver.
