How do I avoid a Section Break after each topic in Robohelp 7

When I generate a printed document from Robohelp 7 (Robohelp HTML) I get a "section break (next page)" at the end of each topic - regardless of the heading level at the top of the next topic. As this means that I get a new page after each and every topic I would like to avoid / omit these section breaks.

I have 'unticked' both the "Start each topic on a new page" and the "Start new chapters on odd pages".

The ticked settings are:

  • Embedd in documents
  • Generate a single document
  • Retain hyperlinks
  • Include drop-down text
  • Include expanding text

Looking forward to hearing from you, thx in advance

The quickest way is take a look at existing answers.

Does that help?

Hi Peter

yes it helped - there were no 'books' only topics in the manual - inserting a 'top-level' book took care of my problem.

THANKS for a good and speedy answer. Actually I did try to look for an answer - but suppose I have to get better at finding the right words to search for

After entering your search words, add +robohelp

section break +robohelp

It restricts the search to just robohelp posts rather than all of Adobe's products.
