I and many others have been running FB on WIndow7 for quite some time. I have used FB on w7 Beta/RC/Final and on both X32 and x64 variants. Have you tried running the Beta 2 in trial mode ?. The only issue I have had and that is to be expected is that currently you can't register the product so you just by pass that when installing.
Thanks for the info - that's what we get for trying to be legit and entering a license code...and kinda what we thought was the issue based on the dialog box that showed the error.
In any case, can anyone from Adobe (Matt?) chime in as to if Windows 7 will be an officially supported dev platform for Flash Builder, and if so, when?
If you setup flashplayer 10.1 with flex and do a browse on any of the components you get to see all those wonderful windows7 supported functions like
The joys of windows 7 and what we can now do in Flex
Flash Builder 4 will support Windows 7. On 64 bit versions of Windows FB4 will run in 32 bit mode.
Hope this helps
