    Menu rollOver

    pjlumby

      I am trying to make a menu where if a menu item is hovered over it grows, I have managed that but the problem I am having is that when the menu item resizes, the other menu items move to accomodate it.

      <fx:Declarations>
              <s:Resize id="rollOver" heightFrom="90" heightTo="100" widthFrom="90" widthTo="100"/>
              <s:Resize id="rollOut" heightFrom="100" heightTo="90" widthFrom="100" widthTo="90"/>
      </fx:Declarations>

      <s:HGroup id="hGr"
          requestedColumnCount="4"
          variableColumnWidth="true"
          height="110"
          clipAndEnableScrolling="true"
          gap="10"
          verticalAlign="middle">
                  <s:SkinnableContainer horizontalCenter="0"
                      rollOverEffect="{rollOver}" rollOutEffect="{rollOut}"
                      skinClass="skins.ScrollItemSkin"
                      height="90" width="90">
                          <s:Label text="One" backgroundColor="red" backgroundAlpha="0.1" height="90" width="80" />
                  </s:SkinnableContainer>
                  <s:SkinnableContainer horizontalCenter="0"
                      rollOverEffect="{rollOver}" rollOutEffect="{rollOut}"
                      skinClass="skins.ScrollItemSkin"
                      height="90" width="100">
                          <s:Label text="Two" backgroundColor="red" backgroundAlpha="0.2" height="90" />
                  </s:SkinnableContainer>
                  <s:SkinnableContainer horizontalCenter="0"
                      rollOverEffect="{rollOver}" rollOutEffect="{rollOut}"
                      skinClass="skins.ScrollItemSkin"
                      height="90" width="100">
                          <s:Label text="Three" backgroundColor="red" backgroundAlpha="0.3" height="90" />
                  </s:SkinnableContainer>

      </s:HGroup>

      What I want to achieve is as shown here:menu_example.jpg

      Any suggestions or pointers to tutorials gratefully recieved.

      Pete
