    Blank White Capture Screen

    methrev

I recently purchased Adobe Premiere Elements 7 as my new video-editing programme. After working  fine for a week or two and enabling me to complete 25 minutes of edited film,  there has appeared a malfunction. Now when I connect my Panasonic Digital Video  Camera (Model No. NV-GS180EB) using the same USB 2.0 port as before, and click  "Get Media", then click "DV Camcorder" all I get is white capture screen. After  a short while this message appears:  [..\..\Src\Timecode.cpp-955], at the top of  which is "Premiere Elements Debug Event. What puzzles me is why it was working  fine and now won't capture any further film from my camcorder. If anyone has any advice to offer from their own  experience  I'd be grateful to hear.
