We have a PDF on our website and when some users open it via Internet Explorer they get the word "Error" in the tab. The document still opens but the word is still in the tab. It does not happen to all users just some.
We have tried clearing the cache in the web browser but it has no impact. Anyone else having this issue or know a resolution?

It more likely has to do with their browsers and/or security settings. Let them try with a different browser like Firefox. If it happens with that as well then we know the issue is general security settings rather than settings in IE.
That got me on the right track. In the end I had to do more then clear the cache I had to actually delete the browsing history. I am guessing that the first time the user accessed the PDF they ran into an issue and although the PDF was solved the browser history kept the original title which was "Error"
