      Hi, I'm new to this forum.  I have a template with the following code for each button.    There are 6 menu buttons on the template, with 6 index-#.html files tied into each menu button respectively.  When I change the getURL html page reference, I still get the page that's tied to the num= value at the top.

      What is this num=#, i.e. what is the number 1-6 in each button here referring to?  I need to be able to create new HTML pages and have menu buttons link to those, instead of their current associations with that num= reference. I don't know what I'm looking for in the FLA file for that reference.  Thank you, hope that made sense.  FLA file attached as zip file.

      onClipEvent (load) {
         num = 1;
         this.hitArea = this.area;
      }
      on (rollOver) {
         if (_root.link<>num) {
             this.gotoAndPlay("s1");
         }
      }
      on (releaseOutside, rollOut) {
         if (_root.link<>num) {
             this.gotoAndPlay("s2");
         }
      }
      on (release) {
         if (_root.link<>num) {
             _parent["item"+_root.link].gotoAndPlay("s2");
             _root.link = num;
             getURL("index.html");
         }
      }
