    Compatibility issue

      I'm running Acrobat Standard 8 under XP Pro (32-bit).

       

      I download our bank statements from the bank's website. They come as PDFs. There's one file per month.

       

      I then do the following:

       

      · open the first month's file

      · insert al subsequent months' filed with "Document - Insert pages - [select file] - After, Last”

      · delete all unnecessary pages such as forms and blanks at file with "Document - Delete pages."

      · "Save As" - Adobe PDF files (.pdf)

       

      This opens fine for me later on all machines, and also for one of my accountants when I send them.

       

      However, my other accountant can't open those files when I send them to her.

       

      Oddly, if I do a Save As after having combined the year's files, but without having deleted the unnecessary pages, she can open it fine.

       

      This has happened to us repeatedly, even when using files from separate years.

       

      Any suggestions what might be going on here?
