You know what, all my apologies because in previous post i completly misjudged the quality of work in the tutorial which i provided the link.
It as shown more helpful than i thought (based on fast reading of the first pages). Helps understand exporting 3D assets out of Maya to Director and how customization affects the exports.
All that misses are the codes and the why of the codes so reader can learn how they actually programmed their game. That's part of what iam looking for, so please your links or books information will be very welcome.

http://www.deansdirectortutorials.com/ - I found it to be a very good place to get started. After I felt a bit of confidence with what I learned from Dean's tutorials I was better able to understand books on 3D Lingo. 'Hope this helps.
