The promise of color management: Make one document and send it to as many different output devices as you desire.
I've read and read all over the web and cannot figure out how to create a divice independent PDF out of Illustrator for a late binding workflow.
Illustrator just won't let you work in RGB and CMYK at the same time.
Keeping 100K type 100K is my only immediate problem. Is there a sane way of preserving CMYK numbers saving as PDF from an RGB Illustrator document. (There used to be.)
Thanks for any help.
I posted this in the Color Management forum too but no one reads that forum much.
The long answer is no.
