Problem: Cross Dissolve transition flickers in exported video

I have a sequence with about 50 clips in it. Most transitions are cross dissolve. Some of them flicker when exported. When transition is rendered upper part of a source frame is taken with one weight and is lighter and lower part of it is darker creating a visible boundary. This boundary moves randomly from frame to frame creating flicker. Reference view looks normal, only final video has problems.

Attaching reference view, frame from exported video and closeup of the problem.

Both sources and exported video are uncompressed, 29.97 fps, 1280x720 to eliminate any codec or scaling issues. The problem is consistent. Even if I export a few seconds containing the problematic transition, it still flickers.

I tried to remove transition from the timeline and insert it again, but this didn’t help. Changing transition duration didn’t help either. Is this a known issue? Are there any workarounds available?
