Say, I have 20 small mov's that I need to play one after another. What I came up with is selecting them all in the Project panel and dragging them to a new comp at the bottom, but what this does is that it positions them all at the same 0:0:0 frame in time and I have to spend some 10-20 minutes dragging them to the right to make sure they all play one after another.
Is there a faster way to position them in a comp?
Select them all in the timeline and choose Animation/Animation Assistants/Sequence Layers.
Thanks. I almost got it. In my AE CS4 I can select layers and do Animation -> Keyframe Assistant -> Sequence Layers (remove Overlap check). But somehow they all get sequenced from the bottom-up, meaning that the last layer in the layer stack become the first in time. How to reverse this order?
Oh, my bad.... It depends how you select them.
I also learned that if I drag all the mov's from the Project panel into a time line before creating a comp, the same sequencing window will pop up that saves me a step.
