21.5" intel iMac, 10.6.1, 4GB RAM, CS4 Premium new install - upgrade from CS2.
CS4 successfully installed to laptop.
iMac <easy installation> failing at Adobe AIR. System setup transferred from previous machine, including CS2 apps, settings, etc.
This is a replacement iMac for a defective unit returned 5 days ago. Was able to install CS4 on defective machine minus transfered user info, applications, data. Prior to return to Apple CS4 was deactivated, SN removed. Subsequent launch of PS into trial mode confirmed.
Install dialogue 'cancel' button doesn't respond. Exit by quitting installer.

You might get better support over there as this is a CS4 Install question.
Thanks for quick response. Since post discovered problem was dialogue box hidden behind install progress box - "This application(x) requires a version of Adobe AIR which is no longer supported."
Clicking allowed install to proceed; unusual in that glitch didn't show up earlier.
Regardless I'll post to creative suites for reference. thanks
Thanks for letting us know the problem is solved.
