default behavior of flex ui client

I'm not very familiar with Flex. I've started using it for developing UI component.

I think flex applications behave in an unwanted fashion. I create a simple flex3 app which has a textInput and a button. Clicking the button sends input data to server and the returned result would be shown in some other ui control.

The problem is that first time when an input is provided, then as expected, the request is sent to server. However, if I repeat the input value subsequently, it doesn't even send out a request and uses the 'cached' result.

I want to know if there is some configuration change which would solve this problem. I doubt whether it can be done using http pragma no-cache only, because in that case, the client request must at least go to proxy server.
