i meant to say TEXT by the way, not test.
That sounds like an FC bug. Could you post exact steps for reproducing this problem (and maybe send along an FXP file that exhibits it).
i mean teXt!
This is a known bug in Beta 2 that has since been fixed - it should work in the next release.
In the meantime, here's a workaround: you don't need to convert text to paths just because you're using an uncommon font. Instead, when you publish your SWF (File > Publish SWF), enable the "Embed Fonts" checkbox. This embeds all the fonts used by your project in the SWF file, so they can still be displayed on a system that doesn't have the font.
Embedding fonts is better than converting them to paths for several reason - it's faster, the text can be easily edited, resized, etc; it can be read by a screen reader; it can be dynamic; etc. It's one of the many cool things about the Flash Player.
My embed fonts function doesn´t work. You are referring to the one that shows up while publishing?
I just double checked and it definitely doesn´t work.
Would save me a LOT of time and file size if it did though.
Maybe I´ve overlooked something?
