I currently built an interactive kiosk for an HD touchscreen. The resolution is 1920 x 1280. I am looking for some code that would resize my project so that is can match the width of the users monitor. I would like to hand out CDs at conferences and so I can't expect most people to have that high of a resolution on their home computers. I have tried this code with no luck, mainly because I want to go from a high resolution to scale down to a lower one.
on prepareMovie (the stage).rect = (the desktopRectList) end
(the stage).drawRect = (the desktopRectList)
(the stage).rect = (the desktopRectList)
You might find the scripts and demos at http://nonlinear.openspark.com/tips/scripts/position/ helpful. These were written for Director 9 and earlier, so you may need to update the syntax to get them to work with Director 10 or later.
