    fileref.upload response from web service

    BoydMills

      I have a file upload set up:

      ---------

      var fileRef:FileReference = new FileReference();

      var urlRequest:URLRequest = new URLRequest();

      fileRef.addEventListener(Event.SELECT, selectHandler);
      fileRef.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, completeHandler);

      urlRequest.url = formsname +

      "?name=IniatialDisplay"+fileRef.type;

      upload_in_effect =

      true;

      fileRef.upload(urlRequest);

      --------------

      And and the file gets uploaded and the file gets saved in the correct spot on the server.

      And when complete the Event.COMPLETE handler fires off.

      Now inside my Web Service, (MS Visual Studio 2005 on Windows Server 2008, IIs7) I end off with code:

      -----------------------

      Response.StatusCode = 700;

      Response.Write(

      "all done");

      Response.End();

      -------------------------

      But I cannot see where, back in the calling routine, I can see this information in the Response buffer.

      Help!
